SORT

The Excel Dynamic Array SORT function sorts the contents of a range or array in ascending or descending order. Values can be sorted by one or more columns. SORT returns a dynamic array of results which means the sorted results are in a new range, leaving the original data intact as opposed to the legacy sort ribbon command which sorts the original data, changing that data.  You enter the function the cell and the results Spill to the needed cells.

The file at the link below has several hands-on exercises for both the Sort and the Sortby Dynamic Array functions.
